The INSOP Monitoring WG meeting will be held online on Wednesday, November 29. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about FAO legal instruments such as FAOLEX and SoiLEX. They will also be encouraged to share their knowledge and identify the major gaps in the development of legal tools for preventing, monitoring, and/or remediating soil pollution in their countries. Furthermore, strategies for reducing the levels of heavy metals in phosphate fertilizers through the endorsement of policies will also be explored and discussed.
